The day I came in for my smog certificate I had a sick relative at home and almost rescheduled. I shared my concern with the gentleman at the counter…… who kindly said "don't worry we'll get you in and out of here in no time " I swear it wasn't more than 10-15 mins later, he handed me my keys and my certificate. Every time I've been there I come away more impressed….. They are efficient, friendly, professional and very importantly Honest

I grew up with a dad that could always fix our cars...so when I moved away and found myself in San Luis Obispo and needing a mechanic, I was so thankful that EVERYONE on my street said "Go to Reeves!" John is so easy to talk to, explains everything, always happy to educate, and such a good person. The staff is friendly, honest and helpful and they take such good care of their costumers. John and his group are a breath of fresh air in a business that often disappoints the customer! I am so impressed with the level of service and professionalism that I received from Reeves Auto Repair. Everything was done in a timely fashion and costs were clearly stated up front. The work I had done on my Avalon carried some risks. John made sure I understood the possible down sides to doing the work, so there were absolutely no surprises. This is the way business should be done!! I wish more people had this same mindset. Well done!

I found John when I first moved to SLO after a few visits to other mechanic shops whose business plan is to charge every customer as much as possible with the most profitable repair whether needed or not. John is the polar opposite of that. John is truly a good guy wanting to help get you back up and running the best possible way for you. I am confident Reeves will fix only the issue that I need, no upsell. The funny thing the others don’t realize is that by doing that he has a customer base that is loyal. Honesty and integrity is not just a slogan it's their underlying business principle. So if you are a student on a limited budget and don't want to worry about being over charged or if you are a long time resident that has experienced those other shops and have been looking for a fair, super qualified mechanic shop look no further.
